Welcome to the Yanchep Two Rocks Lions Club in Western Australia
Ordinary people doing extraordinary things - supporting people with a disability, community greening, fundraising for worthwhile causes.
Be a part of the change. Join the Yanchep Two Rocks LionsClub.
Over the past year we have raised funds by delivering leaflets, running sausage sizzles (thanks to Bunnings) and selling Lions Christmas Cakes. Because of this we have been able to donate funds to the local Commnity organisations and Lions organisations such as Lions Eye Health Program, Lions Sight, Alzeihmers Association, Prostate Cancer, Yanchep and Two Rocks local schools, Riding for the Disabled.
You may also have noticed we collect and recycle newspapers. Newspapers can be dropped off at the Yanchep Sports and Social Club, Yanchep Beach Road and Yanchep Community Centre and Home Support at the Phil Renkin Centre in Two Rocks.
The club has sponsored local children for the Lions Children of Courage Award Programme to be held at the Pan Pacific Hotel each April. Yanchep Two Rocks Lions has participated in the Lions Youth Exchange Programme.
Volunteers also support the Yanchep District High School Breakfast Club to provide breakfast to children prior to commencing classes.
We are the Lions
We meet the needs of our local communities and the world.
Our 1.3 million men and women in 205 countries and geographic areas conduct vision and health screenings, build parks, support eye hospitals, award scholarships, assist youth, provide help in time of disaster and much more.
Join us in making our communities and the world better places to live.
We meet on the first and third Wednesdays of each month at the Capricorn Community House, cnr Two Rocks Rd and Lindsay Beach Bvd at 6.30pm
Becoming a Lion
Lions club members are men and women who strive to make a difference in
their local community as well as in communities worldwide. Their
volunteer efforts go beyond the support of vision care, to addressing
unmet health and education needs worldwide.
